Ferroviario Da Beira keep the perfect record at the Qualifying stage of the Basketball African League. They overcame Cobra 91-65 as both teams advanced to the next stage.
Ferroviario Beira started the game with a 17-12 lead added a massive 28-18 surge in the second quarter. Moreover, the team from Mozambique nailed 30 points in the third quarter to ensure the comfortable win.
Ismael Nurmamade (184-SG-91) top-scored for the winners with 25 points and Ayad Munguambe (197-F/C-96) delivered 13. William Perry (180-PG-94, college: Lenoir-Rhyne) brought 12, whilst Helton Ubisse (201-C-95) had 12. Malual Malual ended up with 21 points for the team from South Sudan.
